Last Week of School

I can't believe this school year is over already. Things have been so busy. We have just returned from a great trip to The Lost Sea and CiCi's pizza. We had an eventful and stormy Field Day.  Now, we are heading down the home stretch.  I want to let you know a few events coming up for us. Tomorrow we be a day to celebrate our students. They have done some amazing things for our community during the tragedy of the tornado. Our students have such big hearts.  They gave up their Spring Carnival and instead made school supply donations so other students in Bradley County would have what they needed to go to school.  I am so proud of them.  Mr. Kiser has decided as a way to show our students how proud we are, we will have a fun Friday tomorrow.  They will be going outside tomorrow afternoon for refreshments and a kickball tournament.  FUN!

Next week, we will be having our multiplication banana split party.  All students who have passed all their multiplication facts will be invited to a banana split party at 2:00.  Tuesday, we have scheduled the third grade spelling bee.  This will be at 9:00 in the Little Theater.  All parents are invited to attend.  Wednesday will be our annual cookout/water day.  I will be sending more information home on this event.  Thursday is the last day of school.  It will be a half day.  We will be having our awards ceremony in the gym. More information on this event to follow.

I want to this opportunity to thank all of you for your support.  This group is an amazing group of kids.  They are so fun and I love them all.  You should be proud.  While I am looking forward to summer break, I am actually very sad to see this year end.  We have had a great year.  I will miss them.  Have an amazing summer.  See ya next year.
